Private Yoga for Stress & Wellbeing in Canary Wharf

Alongside my work as a Clinical Psychologist, I offer private one-to-one yoga sessions designed to support both physical and psychological wellbeing.

These sessions are particularly helpful for people experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, or physical tension from busy professional lives. Unlike large group classes, private yoga offers a personalised space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and develop practical skills for regulating stress.

Sessions can take place in your home or in the gym within your residential building in Canary Wharf and surrounding areas.

A Mind–Body Approach

Our mental and physical wellbeing are deeply connected. Stress and emotional strain often show up in the body as muscle tension, shallow breathing, fatigue, or difficulty switching off.

My approach combines yoga, breathwork, and awareness of the nervous system to help restore balance.

Drawing on both my clinical psychology background and yoga training, sessions may focus on:

• releasing physical tension and improving flexibility

• breathing techniques to calm the nervous system

• reducing stress and mental overload

• improving posture and body awareness

• creating a sense of calm and balance

Each session is tailored to your needs and experience level, whether you are new to yoga or already have a regular practice.

Who These Sessions Are For

Private yoga sessions can be particularly helpful for people who:

• experience high levels of stress or pressure at work

• spend long hours sitting at a desk

• feel physically tense or mentally overwhelmed

• prefer the privacy of one-to-one sessions rather than group classes

• want to develop a sustainable wellbeing practice

Many clients find that private sessions help them slow down, reconnect with their body, and develop practical tools for managing stress in everyday life.

Combining Yoga and Psychological Wellbeing

For some people, yoga can complement therapy by helping them develop greater awareness of their body and nervous system.

However, these sessions can also be booked independently and do not require you to be a therapy client.
